Family Vacation - Day 2
|

* Breakfast at Agro Farm
* Visit to Butterfly Farm
* Shopping at Ringlet
* Tea at Strawberry Moments
So early morning, lepas Nisa bangun, kami pun bersiap mandi walaupun sejuk giler since semalaman hujan, then cepat-cepat gi one of the nearest agro farm, with hopes that kat situ ada breakfast and tak start jem lagi since ramai sangat orang nih...at least kalau ada tea & scones ker cukup dah for a start. Luckily kat situ ada banyak choice, specially fries untuk Nisa. Mama & papa order for waffles with ice-cream & strawberry jam (of coz), and strawberry muffin pancake, and hot Milo. Bila perut dah diisi, kami ronda-ronda farm, memang tergoda tengok sayur-sayur segar tu. Pastu beli sikit strawberry and kasi Nisa try, sekali rasa masam, terus Nisa takmau, sedangkan dia yang beria-ia nak makan strawberry  Kids! Hehehe...mama & papa dah agak dah sebab kami pun penah budak-budak, so paham la...hahaha 
Then, we moved to the nearest butterfly farm, Nisa happy dapat tengok big butterflies Then ada pameran insect gak, and Nisa memang suka gila ler tengok segala beetles and spiders, excited bila dia nampak centipede...all the things yang ada dalam buku dia...
After lunch at one of the Thai restaurants (Nisa tido) then we went to Ringlet town to see our nostalgic Lakehouse Resort, tempat mama & papa honeymoon  Papa cakap next year nak dok sini lah, coz ada sentimental value, and papa sempat amik gambar bangunan suite kami duduk dulu tu...  Then mama gi shopping pokok orchids and some other plants for Maktok Yah & Tokwan yang memang suka tanam pokok...
Next stop is KFC, sebab nisa dah bangun, kasi dia makan sket...then gi restaurant Strawberry Moments, ala-ala Sceret Recipes kot, just menu dia semua base on strawberries...creative We ordered fruit jelly, strawberry & ice-cream crepe and strawberry milkshake...everything was nice especially the milkshake, SOOO creamy! Then we all balik rest, kasi papa tido lagi, before going out for dinner at the night markets

Family Vacation - Day 1

* At Bala's Holiday Chalet

After so long promising Nisa that we'll be taking her to the zoo, watch butterfly and eat strawberries, if she behaves well and be a good girl everyday, so at last, mama & papa kena fulfull the promise lah and took Nisa to a 3D2N vacation in Cameron Highlands. Actually, the original plan was to take Maktok Pah too, since 25th is her birthday, so we booked an apartment which is owned by papa's school friend, but ntah camna, ada kes double-booking lak, due to miscommunication between papa's friend and the care-taker, so last minute mama busy tepon sana-sini cari hotel, and we managed to book Bala's Holidat Chalet instead. So takleh la bawak Maktok coz tak cukup tempat tido, so Maktok ikut Paksu gi KL.
Ramai orang cakap Cameron surely jammed, but sebab kami tak penah gi peak season, takleh bayang camna Cameron yang cool & relax to be packed, lagipun dulu mama & papa honeymoon during Christmas time gak, tak jammed pun...But, we under-estimate lah  Kami bertolak kol 8 pagi, sepanjang perjalanan R&R all packed with people and cars, then bila naik Cameron pun jammed gila jalan, papa sakit kepala lutut driving...sian papa...Dah ler hujan jer...Sib baik Nisa tido jer so tak tension sangat, and we arrived at the chalet a little bit after 3pm. We read good and bad reviews of the chalet in the net, but to us, it's so-so lah...what do you expect from a 2 1/2 star hotel? The gardens and sceneries were great! The chalet used to be a boarding school for expat's kids before war, and still hold that feeling To papa yang penah dok MCKK, it's very nostalgic, but to mama, it's like in Harry Potter movies In the room, mama melayan Nisa yang dah segar-bugaria (term specially for Nisa) while papa tido, then after a couple of hours, we went for dinner at the town area. We ordered steamboat since it's so cold due to the rain, but then beli some fries untuk Nisa kat KFC so that she'll be more full, since she doesn't eat much. This is a trick we learn from a friend from India who brought 2 kids for holidays in Malaysia, the kids can't take Malaysian food much, so they stuffed the kids with fries since it's carbo, so at least the kids get the energy they needed for the short trip.

Sorry mama lama tak update, sejak bluetooth hp mama mengong, takleh transfer gambar ke pc...
Nisa dah 2 years plus, cakap pun makin banyak, pastu dah pandai merajuk, and kalau balik kampung, no matter which kampung, kalau mama papa tak ikut kehendak dia, cepat jer march straight to maktok sekalian dan report
Peberet snack Nisa skarang is lollipop, sejak besday dia ari tu mama kasi sebungkus lollipop to share with friends...minum susu and makan pun makin laju jer so boleh tengok la dari gambar ni ke'chubby'an nyer...peberet store Nisa is no longer Giant but either the new Tesco or Carrefour (dah bleh demand )...pastu cartoon peberet no longer Pingu, walau Pingu remain no.1, now Nisa suka tengok Dibo or Little Einstein, pastu kalau kat umah Nisa suka tengok vcd Baby Genius or movie Charlotte's Web...Nisa suka movie citer animals specially berkaitan dengan farm animals, buku-buku cerita pun cerita farm animals...
Ok, not sure bila pulak mama boleh update nih...see you again

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri (1st day raya in SP)

Tahun ni Nisa beraya sakan, banyak dapat duit raya sebab ada orang kasi hadiah besday skali kat Nisa (add on dalam duit raya) And luckily, tahun ni Nisa tak meragam, so mama & papa pun syok beraya...
Ni 1st day raya, tahun ni turn kat SP dulu...nanti update gambar kat Aloq Staq lak kalau Acu antar gambar-gambar tu...
Papa try mintak gambar raya Nisa with cousins KL yang balik on the 3rd day, from PakChaq...
In conclusion, even mama & papa pun puas berpuasa and beraya tahun ni, memang terasa lain sket tahun ni...Hopefully panjang umur, boleh jumpa Ramadhan & Syawal tahun depan

Ni Nisa's 3rd besday party for her 2nd year's birthday, kat umah Maktok Pah (SP), on Hari Raya eve, lepas berbuka...
Actually mama nak beli kek yang best sket, tapi tetiba kawasan kat umah tu takde letrik lak petang tu, so kedai kek pun takde letrik, gi tengok kek semua dah senget coz cair...so beli la choc moist cake nih...sekadar cukup syarat...sib baik by time berbuka dah ada letrik, kalau dak candle light dinner la semua
Thanks to MakSu, PakSu and Anis, and MakNgah & PakNgah for the besday gifts  This year is a grand year for Nisa coz bleh selebret 3 besday

Happy Birthday Nisa (Part 2)

Pada tarikh ini, pukul 9:30 pagi, 2 tahun lepas, Nisa Humaira Ariff telah selamat dilahirkan
Actually, this is Nisa's 2nd birthday party for this year. The day before, Nisa selebret besday kat umah Maktok Yah & Tokwan in Alor Setar, dikelilingi cousins and all uncles & aunties, but gambar ada dalam camera Paksu and Paksu tak bawah cable or card reader, so kena tunggu lepas raya la baru update...
Ni gambar pirthday party Nisa kat skool, courtsey of principal nyer...hehehe...Mama & papa berkejar pagi tu antar Nisa, then shopping for the foods and then pick up the cake (marble ice-cream cake with Pooh characters)...Nisa dapat 2 hadiah from mama & papa...one is from papa, toy set Pooh...2nd is from mama, potty seat with music Toys tu sebelum besday Nisa dah nangis-nangis soh bukak sebab dia dah nampak kotak hadiah tu, penat jer soh wrap Yang potty tu terselamat, baru bukak tadi lepas berbuka
Dalam gambar ni, ni je la bebudak skool Nisa, as I always mentioned, less than 10. Actually total semua 15 orang tapi diorang datang by the hour macam tuition, Nisa jer full day sebab dia paling kecik (and obviously the only Malays here) so semua kelas dia akan masuk skali, but actually pagi just as daycare/nursery so main-main, petang baru kelas with the others, dia akan join diorang. Mama taktau sangat nama diorang, Nisa yang cakap sambil mama dok upload gambar...Paling kiri tu kakak kepada yang sebelah kiri Nisa tu, both mama takleh tangkap nama apa sebab Nisa ni pelat sket sebutan (tak teruih )...Yang girl belakang diorang pun mama taktau nama apa, yang paling tinggi tu abang kepada bebudak 2 orang tadi, dia memang very protective, of Nisa, bukan jaga adik-adik dia...macam time besday ni, dia jaga Nisa so that bebudak lain tak kacau Nisa tiup candles or cut the cake...Adik dier yang bongsu tu musuh ketat Nisa cikgu cakap, dua orang tu slalu gaduh sampai kena separate kelas Sebelah kanan Nisa tu Liang Liang, dulu sombong sket, sekarang macam best friend Nisa sebab Nisa sllau sebut nama dia...Yang lain mama tak tangkap nama apa, but the only Indian girl kat situ is Sashmita, actually mixed Indian+Sikh...comel!
So, at 2 years old as of today, Nisa skarang dah bleh cakap English (her main), then a bit of BM, Japanese and Mandarin (mama & papa caught her counting in Mandarin, kekadang bila dia excited ke apa-apa, terkuar gak word Mandarin/Hokkien )...Mama papa tak ajar Jap sangat walau ada orang marah, cakap rugi, but mama & papa ketengahkan Mandarin sebab quite an essential nowadays...BM/English bleh blajar cakap kat umah and kat skolah, Jap lak mama papa terpaksa sembunyikan dari Nisa, ajar a few words only, sebab senang kalau mama & papa nak diskas something rahsia dari Nisa Takpe, Nisa bleh talk in Mandarin kalau dia nak rahsia dari mama & papa Kat GF apartment kami dok nih ada surau tempat bebudak blajar ngaji, Nisa besar sket nanti antar dia join...
To my darling girl...

Countdown to Nisa's birthday

Hehehe...just another few days before Nisa's birthday
Mama busy buat list of things to buy for her birthday party at school, also planning for birthday party at Maktok Yah and Maktok Pah...papa dok garu kepala ler with the expenses...hahaha
Nisa will celebrate her birthday early, on 27th since it's Tokwan's birthday, in Aloq Staq. Next is the real birthday at school with her friends. Then on Hari Raya, if keadaan mengizinkan, Nisa will have another birthday at SP, Maktok Pah's house. If budget ada extra, maybe mama & papa akan buat open-house raya and invite Nisa's friends (which their parents are mama & papa's friends), so Nisa will have another birthday
Nisa's teachers cakap Nisa dah start tak pakai diapers at school except for nap-time since a couple of weeks ago. Nisa dah bleh cakap bila nak wee-wee, but she refused to announce if she wanted to poo-poo Nak buek camno, so kadang-kadang ada la kes-kes eksiden ni...but not so frequent. Mama hopes Nisa can graduate from toilet training before her birthday, but don't want to push since it depends on the tot's readiness. Target memang ada, hopefully Nisa can achieve it, Nisa is always known to work miracle Dari time baby, baru ja babysitter cakap umo 4 bln biasa baby bleh meniarap, the next day at the age of 2 and a half Nisa dah meniarap. Then in term of crawl, and even walk, Nisa always achieve mama's target at the very last minute Same like now, dulu Nisa ni tak bercakap, diam jer or cakap bahasa Pingu, sampai mama & papa risau, tanya PD Nisa is it normal...hehehe...tengok-tengok the next day Nisa dah boleh cakap, dan sampek skarang mulut nyer becok sesangat, just cakap tu pelat sket macam her cousin Abg Hazeeq Suka buat lawak bukan-bukan...macam papa
One incidence, mama amik hourly maid untuk cuci umah bi-weekly, then bila habis time, we all turun dari rumah (rumah apartment) and heading for Giant hypermarket depan umah tu, the maid carrying plastik sampah. Papa offer nak tolong buang sampah kat tempat sampah, so maid tu boleh terus naik van dier and balik, while mama & Nisa head for the car. In the car, while waiting for papa, this is our conversation:
Nisa: Papa where?
Mama: Papa went to throw rubbish, you remember just now kakak was holding a bag of rubbish?
Nisa: Kakak throw rubbish...Kakak where?
Mama: Kakak went home. Papa throw rubbish
Nisa: Kakak got rubbish...Papa throw rubbish...Papa throw kakak
Mama: (Hanya mampu tersenyum)
Itu la penaakulan mantik dari Nisa (dipetik dari ayat papa lepas mama tell the whole story)
Satu lagi, Nisa ni, maybe sebab bergaul dengan budak Cina kat skool, cakap dia slang Cina sket...hahaha Tak tahan betul bila dia guna "Lor" or "Wor" at the right place, then one day we caught her counting in Mandarin Nisa memang suka counting, sambil jalan or jumping/skipping dia akan count her steps, kadang-kadang takde apa pun she will count

This is specially for papa...sebab dia slalu argue bila mama cakap Nisa lebih 80% ikut papa, not only physically, but also in character Tu sebab la hari-hari bleh dengar "Mamaaa!!!Papa kacau me"
This picture was taken using the handycam, pakai nightshot sebab ni time tido malam, gelap except for the nightlight sebab Nisa takleh tido takde lampu, mesti meraung-raung soh buka lampu. Once nightlight tu blow, Nisa bleh sedar and terus nangis-nangis soh buka lampu.
Anyway, Nisa nih slalu sangat gaduh dengan papa, usually semuanya sebab papa suka usik, susah sungguh apa nih, anak sendiri pun diusik But it's funny to see Nisa's character ni kumpul sket-sket dari all her family ties:
1) Maktok (both sides)
- suka makan bende rangup-rangup especially nuts
- suka makan pedas
2) Tokwan (both sides)
- suka makan mee/kuetiau
3) Papa
- suka soupy stuff
- suka juice yang masam-masam
- suka merajuk or baran-baran bila tak dilayan or tak dapat apa dia nak
- suka tido meniarap, kena tepuk-tepuk or urut-urut belakang sebelum tido
- asik nak kepung mama kat dia sorang jer (nak attention, takleh share attention, so akibatnya slalu berebut mama dengan papa)
- sebelum tido kene baca buku cerita dulu tu papa ngaku macam papa sebab masa kecik Maktok or Toknek akan bacakan untuk papa and his brothers
- suka sos tomato!!!
4) Mama
- suka durian
- suka cheesy stuff like mama
- suka tomato based pasta
- suka mandi lama-lama pun cam mama
- marah kalau tengah busy concentrate on something, pastu kena kacau (slalunya papa nyer keje la)

Nisa at Seoul Garden

One of the weekends kot, ker mana-mana public holidays lah, lepas penat bersopping, mama ajak papa makan Korean food kat Seoul Garden. Mama dah penah meh sini with office friends for mama's farewell dulu tu, memang tau papa sure suka nyer tempat nih sebab bleh makan yakiniku & nabe, dah ler buffet stail, syok giler! Tak sangka Nisa pun suka, pastu sebab tengok mama & papa guna chopstick, Nisa pun nak guna, walau tak penah pegang seumur hidup...Surprisingly, Nisa boleh pakai chopstick, siap abis 2 bowl kuetiau sup Lepas raya bleh meh sini lagik
Ujung bulan ni, before raya, besday Nisa...rasanya berulang kali dah mama dok cakap dalam fp nih...hahaha Dah dekat sebulan lebih mama dok planning untuk besday Nisa. Hadiah besday pun dok mayou (confuse) apa nak beli, banyak sangat choice...either dollhouse, lego set, work table or tricycle...but bila tanya Nisa, dia cakap "I want books" Aisehhhh...yappari anak mama & papa nih, macam kitorang gak suka baca buku, buku yang not related to studies lah, hahaha
Skarang Nisa dah pandai cakap tak berenti, bleh bercerita, sampai cikgu kat skool komplen ada satu hari tu, Nisa cakap tak berenti sampai soh tido pun dok cakap lagik Pastu dah pandai amik ati, bila nak something or dia tau dia ter'naughty', dia meh peluk or kiss, then cakap "I lu yu" (I love you), or "I tayang mama/papa" (I sayang mama/papa) Perkara paling membuatkan mama touched, was on the 1st day berbuka puasa, mama dok suap Nisa makan, suddenly Nisa cakap "Mama...good...good mama"...Mama ingatkan Nisa cakap the food is good so mama cakap la "Oh, yummy? Nisa like this" but Nisa geleng then point to my chest and said "No, mama good mama" then point to papa and said "Papa good papa"...Alahaiiii... But when mama asked "How about Nisa?"...shyly sambil dok pulas-pulas tangan sendiri, Nisa said "Nisa notty"...Mama asa macam nak nangis  is it sebab we always jokingly said Nisa naughty? Or bila marah cakap Nisa naughty till she had that impression? So after that, the word is already banned and bila Nisa buat salah, we explained what she did and why it is wrong Susah jadi millenium parents nih, hehehe...but we are learning thru experience

Gambar lama gak actually, tak ingat the exact date...
Sesajer bawak Nisa jalan-jalan Sunway Carnival Perai tu, then dinner time tanya Nisa nak makan apa, actually dia tunjuk Manhattan Fish Market tapi cakap "I want eat chicken" which is Nando's kat sebelah tu...hehehe So makan la kat situ...Nisa nampak orang jual balloons Hello Kitty, SpongeBob and ada balloons biasa gak, dah dapat gaji so mama cakap why not skali skala jer treat Nisa, beli balloon SpongeBob...Tulis kat situ balloons RM2, so fair la kan? Tup tup character balloons RM6!!!!  Tapi Nisa dah pegang so sian lak, so takpe la, anything for Nisa...hehehe...Papa mulanya not very happy but bila tengok Nisa syok main balloons terus papa pun sengih sampai merah telinga (dah ler telinga papa tu senang merah )...
So ni la Nisa, sorry balloon nyer tak nampak sebab Nisa asik lambung ke atas
