Nisa at 6 weeks

Lama tak update...dok bz jaga Nisa, tak sempat ambil gambar  Anyway, Nisa dah 6 weeks nak masuk 7 weeks. Pastu ada gambar cousin Nisa, anak my hubby's youngest brother, nama dier Anis. Diorang berdua ni beza 1 bulan 1 minggu jer, Anis lahir dulu. Cousin diorang anak my hubby's eldest brother, Hazeeq, panggil dua-dua baby ni 'Anisa' (dia gabung dua-dua nama...hehehe)

Name: Nisa Humaira Ariff binti Shafizal Nazlan
Date/time of Birth: 29/9/2006 9:31am
Weight: 3.95kg
Lenght: 51cm
Presenting to the world...hehehe...my baby Actually due date betul nyer 4/10/2006 but masa check up 2nd last (24/9), doktor takleh detect berat baby, kat monitor kuar tanda soal jer, but he estimated the baby to be about 3.1-3.2kg. Memang dari awal pregnancy the baby cam besar sket, terlebih 2 minggu tumbesaran dari baby lain, but doktor ingat nanti final few weeks berat dia akan stable. Tapi as precaution, doktor soh datang balik on 28/9 for check-up. So lepas buka puasa on hari tu, I went to the maternity center with my hubby, lagi skali computer tak dapat detect berat baby, pastu gambar scan nampak sendat penuh. Doktor cakap dah takde ruang, baby too big, agak-agak dalam 3.7-3.8kg and my body build tak cukup utk kuarkan secara normal, lagipun first baby, doktor taknak take the risk, kang ada yang sangkut bahu ke aper, so he suggested caesarian section on the next morning.
Malam tu the whole family takleh tido, sebab labor via c-section ni takde saper in the family penah experience. Tapi sebab dah tahu awal, so ready dah la  Kemas beg, barang sumer, just kokoro junbi (psychological/emotional) tu tak prepare. Kol 8 masuk labor room for bius sumer, bius half jer so I was concious during the whole event, cuma tak nampak sebab diorang tutup ngan kain. My darling sis-in-law temankan in the labor room, memang tabik spring kat dia, very calm and soothing. My husband sepatutnya bleh masuk, but doktor tengok muka dia pucat, so tak galakkan...hehehe Operation room tu cam tempat borak dan ngumpat, kami borak pasal politik la, isu semasa ngan doktor and nurse, diorang pun boleh kutuk-kutuk doktor dan nurse dalam maternity center tu...lawak betul!
9:31am, lahirlah Nisa, nangis kejap je First skali, doktor terus soh confirm berat, terkejut semua bila nurse cakap 3.95kg. Sket lagi 4kg. Doktor terus cakap, luckily dia suruh buat c-section ari ni, kalau tunggu due date, bleh jadi 4.1kg 3 hari terlantar kat wad, first day syok la bius still ada, excited asik cakap jer sampai kena marah soh tido  2nd day baru kenal dunia bila pain killer dah wear off, sakitnyaaaa!!!
Bercakap tentang Nisa, nama Humaira ni dia pilih sendiri sebab satu malam masa still dalam pregnancy, I dreamt ada suara lelaki sebut nama ni berulang kali, cam panggil. Actually nak kasi nama baby Danisha Nazlin. So bila mimpi tu, heran gak sebab rasa penah dengar, then semak dalam buku makna nama muslim, maknanya 'pipi merah' atau 'putih merah'. Then bila cakap kat my hubby, dia cakap nama tu panggilan Rasulullah kat Aisyah kot. So it seems like the baby dah pilih nama dia sendiri, sesuai plak tu sebab kulit dia memang cam putih merah, kami just cari satu lagi nama pendek untuk letak kat depan, dan pilih Nisa yg bermaksud 'gadis'. Ariff tu turun dari nama I ler...hehehe So inilah Nisa Humaira Ariff...Yoroshiku!

I miss my Giant!

Sebab perut nih dah makin sarat, pastu tak lama lagi nak pindah ke rumah baru so busy packing barang, Giant terpaksa dihantar balik ke kampung...cam hantar anak gi umah maktok dan tokwan nyer plak....hehehe
Tapi rindu gila kat Giant, dah 2 minggu tak tengok. Kalau tak balik keje dia sambut (tu pun sebab nak makan), then tido dia sure tido kat ujung kaki (berat nak mampus, hangat lak tu). Balik rumah mak ingat nak jumpa Giant, tup tup abang dah kidnap Giant bawak gi rumah dia sebab anak-anak dia nak main ngan Giant 
Lately dok busy ngan baby, lama tak amik gambar Giant, so again, ada gambar time wedding jer la...
Pastu ada gambar Giant masa kecik-kecik umur 2-3 bulan...then gambar before and after Giant, perbezaan dia masa umur dalam 6 bulan (gambar tu amik masa kat Japan) dengan umur 3 tahun (gambar masa wedding)...ada perbezaan?
Windunya kat Giant....

Al-fatihah...

Pada pukul 5:30 petang, 22hb Julai 2006, abah (bapa mertua saya) telah kembali ke rahmatullah, sehari sebelum hari ulangtahun kelahirannya yang ke-63, dikelilingi ahli keluarga yang tersayang.Abah yang bertarung lebih setahun setengah, mengidap 'colon cancer', was really a patient and brave fighter.To me, abah seorang yang lembut dan baik hati, tegas dalam membuat keputusan. Kehilangannya amat dirasai, especially to my husband yang amat rapat dengan arwah abah di saat-saat akhir dan berada disisi abah ketika abah menghembuskan nafas terakhir.
Gambar-gambar ni diambil 7 bulan lepas, masa tu abah masih boleh berjalan.Walau tak sempat melihat cucu ke-4 (anak adik ipar...adik husband) dan cucu ke-5 (my baby) yg due bulan 8 dan 9 ni, hajat abah untuk melihat keempat-empat anak lelakinya berkahwin tercapai.Abah, seperti biasa, sentiasa tersenyum,inilah kenangan akhir kami...Semoga abah ditempatkan bersama golongan mukmin...Al-fatihah

Family Day!

Last week, during Wesak holiday kami buat Family Day kat Casuarina Beach Resort, Penang. Abang ipar yg sulung balik dari KL, then gabung dengan adik ipar and wife, mertua sumer...ramai-ramai gi bermalam kat hotel tu...actually hotel tu takde la best sangat, tapi menarik sebab antik gila...hehehe...Bayangkan, air-cond dier centralized, jadi temperature controller dia kita pusing cam tombol kat dinding untung tutup bukak laluan air-cond tu...bunyi 'gedegang' tiap kali tutup bukak,kelakar gila!
My 2nd brother-in-law takleh join sebab dia kat oversea, tapi dia yang sponsor holiday ni, so thanks so much Best gak main-main ngan bebudak tu, anak 1st brother-in-law, Faiz (8 years), Hazeeq (taktau braper) and Zulaikha (3 years). Ika ni kiut tapi susah nak capture gambo dier sebab tak duduk diam...hehehe...My hubby pulak memang suka budak-budak, so dok practice mengasuh budak ler,nak jadi papa nanti

A glimpse of a new life

Here are my baby scanned photos, taken when we went for 10, 13, 21, 26 and 29 weeks regular monthly check-up.Actually, we did went for 17 weeks check-up but due to the excitement of knowing our baby is a baby girl, we forgot to ask the doctor for her 17 weeks photo
During our last check-up (on her 29th week),our little princess was sleeping. In the ultra-sound picture on the right, you can see her face (you have to use a bit of imagination since the picture is not clear)...her eyes, nose and lips. The picture on the left is her body and her heart...I always wonder why the doctor always insist on showing us this though he already said the baby's heart is strong and healthy, and that's enough for us to understand...we don't need the picture of it
Both of my husband and I are mesmerized by seeing her, we wished we could stay with the doctor as long as we could, so that we could keep on watching the baby. But this time check-up is not as fun as before as it was a few days after my father-in-law's funeral, we are still in grief and mourning.
As I'm entering the 8th month, we'll have bi-weekly check-ups, so we'll be seeing her again soon

Walaupun dah nak masuk 2 bulan, ni gambar baru dapat dari camera our mak angkat in Japan. Terharu dia susah payah datang memeriahkan majlis kami, siap pakai sut kimono lagi! Dah la tu, dia attend kenduri dua-dua side, di Alor Setar dan Sungai Petani!So, enjoy!

MCKK 100th Years

Ni just upload gambar yang diambil oleh orang lain, cilok dari blog/fotopage bebudak MC lain sebab my hubby nak sangat gambar-gambar ni... Gambar ni diambil time sambutan 100 tahun Malay College Kuala Kangsar (MCKK) or Kolej Melayu Kuala Kangsar (KMKK). Diorang nih batch 90/94 kot, gi beramai-ramai sambut, semangat sungguh! Badan sorang-sorang pun 'semangat' gaks ...hehehe...(jangan mareee)...Ceritanya dulu ramai jambu-jambu belaka, sekarang hampir semua dah jadi buah nangka...kuikuikui...Atoiiii...kene ketuk kepala laks

We were so busy with work till the last minutes before our wedding, that we forgot to plan for any honeymoon vacation. Luckily we got this package, and really, we are very lucky to get this as there's only one Honeymoon Suite in the resort! The other couple who booked a bit later than us was given regular room with extra candlelit dinner or something. The place is really great for those who love peace and isolation We couldn't get a single bar of our handphone line service, so we really could relax and enjoy ourselves up there. It's easy to forget where you are since we (us and the other newly-wed couple) were the only Malaysians there! Others are mostly Europeans, the place was also decorated and furnished in mocked Tudor style. The food were superb!  I specially loved the breakfast and tea...with fresh jam and cream...YUMMY!The staffs and manager were so friendly and nice too!
We did feel the place was a bit eerie  , but we didn't think much. When we got back, my brother-in-law said the place is haunted. But if we have another chance, we'd still come here to enjoy sitting by the fireplace while having our tea
